Starting from T22: Dandy Locks Joins Hands with the IDA and TDRI to Create New Value for “Made in Changhua”
We sincerely thank the Industrial Development Administration (IDA) and the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) for promoting the T22 Design Movement for Local Industry Revitalization, which gave Dandy the opportunity to participate. We were also honored to welcome IDA’s Chief Secretary Chen Guoxuan, Section Chief Yan Xiufen, Officer Zhang Yuwei, and TDRI’s Deputy Director Ai Shuting, Division Chief Zheng Yufen, and Project Manager Chen Weijun to visit and exchange ideas, bringing us invaluable perspectives and energy.
Through T22’s professional guidance and cross-disciplinary resources, we not only re-examined our core values but also gained new inspiration in design thinking and brand identity. This is not just about product upgrades—it marks an important step toward building a new generation of contract manufacturing under the banner of “Made in Changhua.” Dandy will continue to build on more than half a century of manufacturing experience, integrating innovation and design, and work with T22 to promote local industry upgrades, helping shape a more competitive industrial ecosystem for Changhua. At the same time, we hope this initiative will allow more people to see the potential and value of local industries, fostering cross-sector collaboration to make Changhua a hub that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design energy.
Looking ahead, Dandy aims not only to remain a contract manufacturer but also to actively move toward branding and internationalization, making “Made in Changhua” a synonym for quality and innovation. We believe this local strength can drive broader industrial transformation and, together with Taiwan’s design power, lead toward a more resilient and sustainable future.
