Duen Yih Metal × T22: Showcasing the Strength of Changhua’s Metal to the World

Changhua has long been a vital base of Taiwan’s metalworking industry.
Here, countless factories hammer away day after day, quietly supporting Taiwan’s manufacturing as it steps onto the global stage. Duen Yih Metal is proud to be one of them.

Since 2019, the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) has promoted the T22 Design-Driven Revival Plan for Local Industries, using the power of design to bring greater visibility to local industries. In 2025, Duen Yih Metal was honored to join this initiative as part of the “Changhua Factory Tours – North and South Alliance.”

In the video (0:24–0:34), Duen Yih’s persistence in door lock craftsmanship is presented. At the conclusion (1:16), the appearance of our general manager symbolizes Duen Yih Metal’s ongoing commitment to the industry.

For us, this participation was not just a showcase, but a continuation of Duen Yih’s mission to promote local metalworking.We firmly believe that design can inject new energy into industries and allow the world to see the strength of Taiwan’s manufacturing.
